LOCAL BUYER ACCOUNTABILITY

What We Expect From Every Local Buyer

When CashMyCarOregon connects a seller with a local buyer, that buyer must be identifiable, explain the final offer, confirm towing and payment, protect seller information, and remain accountable for the pickup.

WHO MAY CONTACT OR PICK UP YOUR CAR

A local buyer must be identifiable and accountable

CashMyCarOregon connects the vehicle with a buyer whose service area and current availability fit the request. The seller should know who is calling, what offer is being confirmed, how payment will work, and who is expected at pickup.

01

The assigned buyer must be identifiable

Before receiving a seller request, a local buyer must provide CashMyCarOregon with current business contact information, the Oregon areas it serves, the types of vehicles it can evaluate, and its present availability.

The person who contacts you should identify the vehicle and the CashMyCarOregon assignment. Call us before releasing the car when the caller, company, phone number, or pickup plan does not match what you were told.

02

Your information is shared only for the assigned sale

An assigned buyer receives the vehicle, ownership, contact, and pickup details needed to review that request. CashMyCarOregon does not publish seller contact information, VINs, title documents, exact pickup addresses, or payment records.

Buyer access is limited and can be removed. Sellers should never provide online banking passwords, one-time security codes, gift cards, or unrelated identity documents to receive an offer or schedule towing.

  • One identifiable buyer contact for the active request
  • Only information needed to evaluate and complete the sale
  • No fee to receive an offer or arrange confirmed towing
  • No publication of private seller records

03

The buyer must fit the vehicle and pickup location

CashMyCarOregon considers the city or ZIP, vehicle condition, title or lien information, towing access, and current local availability before connecting a request with a buyer. The goal is a practical match, not simply the nearest name on a list.

A city page means a request from that area may be reviewed; it does not promise that a buyer or tow truck has already accepted the vehicle. The assigned buyer must still confirm the service area and pickup plan.

04

Contact and offer changes must be clear

The buyer should contact the seller promptly, confirm the vehicle being discussed, and explain the amount, required documents, payment method, and next step without pressure. Sellers are not obligated to accept an offer.

If the VIN, title status, missing parts, damage, location, or access materially differs from the submission, the buyer must explain why the amount changed before transfer. The seller may decline the revised offer.

05

Pickup and payment must match the accepted terms

Before dispatch, the buyer should confirm the final amount, payment method, ownership documents, exact location, vehicle mobility, access restrictions, and pickup window. Towing is included only with an accepted and confirmed offer.

The seller should receive payment as agreed and keep a signed transfer record. Do not release the vehicle when the buyer identity, amount, payment, towing fee, or paperwork differs from the confirmed arrangement.

06

Vehicle photos are private unless you approve publication

Photos can help a buyer understand damage, missing parts, tires, and towing access before pickup. Submitted photos and transaction evidence remain private by default.

A vehicle photo may appear in Recent Purchases only after a completed sale, separate seller permission, and a privacy review. CashMyCarOregon does not publish readable plates, VINs, documents, exact addresses, contact details, or payment information as proof.

07

Seller concerns can affect future buyer assignments

CashMyCarOregon reviews available information about response time, offer clarity, pickup, payment, completed outcomes, and seller complaints. A buyer can be paused or removed from new assignments when performance or seller protection concerns require action.

Call us about duplicate contacts, an unknown buyer, unexplained price changes, surprise fees, missed pickups, or payment concerns. Immediate danger, theft, threats, or suspected fraud should also be reported to the appropriate emergency service, police, bank, or payment provider.

08

Licenses and equipment depend on the work performed

A vehicle buyer, towing provider, dealer, dismantler, recycler, and storage facility may have different legal responsibilities. CashMyCarOregon does not claim that every local buyer holds one identical license or owns the tow truck or facility used for every pickup.

When a particular authorization matters, it should be verified for the company performing that activity. Call us when you need help identifying the buyer assigned to your request.

LOCAL BUYER NETWORK QUESTIONS

How we protect clarity when a partner is assigned

These answers explain the CashMyCarOregon process. Official requirements still depend on each vehicle's record and documents.

How does CashMyCarOregon choose a local buyer?

Assignment considers the vehicle's city or ZIP, condition, ownership details, towing access, current buyer availability, and whether the buyer can review that type of request. A city page alone does not guarantee assignment or pickup.

Will several buyers call me at the same time?

The goal is one clear active assignment. If you receive duplicate or conflicting calls, contact CashMyCarOregon so we can verify which buyer is currently assigned to your request.

What must the assigned buyer confirm?

The buyer should confirm their identity, the vehicle, final offer, payment method, required ownership documents, pickup location, access conditions, and expected pickup window before the vehicle is transferred.

Does every partner have the same licenses or equipment?

No. Requirements vary for buyers, towers, dealers, dismantlers, recyclers, and facilities. CashMyCarOregon does not claim that every participant holds one identical license or owns the same equipment.

What happens if a partner does not follow the confirmed terms?

CashMyCarOregon can review the assignment, contact, offer, pickup, and outcome records available for the request. A partner can be paused or removed from new assignments when performance or seller concerns require action.

Want to verify your assigned buyer?

Call CashMyCarOregon with your name, vehicle, and request reference before pickup if you do not recognize the caller or need to confirm the active assignment.
